Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement

Weather Conditions: I understand that there are no refunds even if the race is cancelled due to force majeure. Penticton Triathlon Club will not hold responsible any party mentioned for return of my entry fee if the race is cancelled due to force majeure.
 

The applicant, on behalf of myself, my family, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, hereby forever release, discharge and hold harmless, the organizers, Penticton Triathlon Club, Barley Mill Pub, Triathlon BC, Startline Sports Group Ltd., representatives and agents and all associated sponsors and volunteers for any injury, loss or damage, to my person or property, howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with my taking part in the TriBC organized events and activities, including the Bare Bones Duathlon, held on Saturday May 11, 2019, and not withstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by, the negligence of any of the above mentioned persons, businesses or organizations. I acknowledge that I am responsible for the roadworthiness and correct operation of my bicycle.
I realize that I may be subject to unannounced drug testing as provided for by Triathlon Canada's agreement with the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport.
