In consideration of the foregoing, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, successors and assigns, waive and release any and all rights, claims and causes of action, I have or may have against the Run for the Roses Organization (Referred to as RFR hereafter) and all thiose sponsoring and affliated with the race and, or any of their agents, employees, officers, directors, successors or assigns their representatives and successors, that may arise as a result of my participation in 2021 ROSELLE RUN FOR THE ROSES and any pre and Post-race activities. I attest and verify that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and my physical condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. Further, I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising.

COVID19 Notification:

The Novel Coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact.

R4R cannot guarantee that you or your families will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending group events could increase your risk and your family’s risk of contracting COVID-19.

By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending group fitness events like R4R, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at R4R may result from the action, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, R4R employees, volunteers, and event participants and their families.

I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself, illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with my attendance at R4R. On my behalf, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless R4R employees, volunteers, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kinds arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the race, its employees, volunteers, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in the event.
