I understand that running a road race is a potentially dangerous activity.  I do hereby waive and release any and all claims for personal damages that I may incur as a result of my participation in this event against the Heart of the City Race, all sponsors, employees, volunteers or officials of these organizations.  I further certify that I have full knowledge of the risks involved in this event and that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate. If I, however, as a result of my participation in the Heart of the City Race, require medical attention, I hereby give my consent to authorize medical personnel to provide such medical care as deemed necessary.  Application for minors accepted only with parent’s signature. No bicycles, rollerblades, or roller skis are allowed on the course. I grant full permission for organizers to use photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recording or any other record of this event in which I may appear for any legitimate reason.

The Kids Feeding Kids program provides Club kids a free, nutritious, family-style meal five evenings per week and on all school release days during the school year. They learn important skills, both culinary and service to others through preparing, serving and cleaning up. KFK kitchens in the Twin Cities and Rochester clubs have served more than 150,000 nutritious meals every year!
