I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter this run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official
relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running this event, including but not limited to: falls; tripping; contact with other participants and their dogs;
effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity; traffic; and conditions of the road/course, all such risks being known and
appreciated by me. DOGS ARE REQUIRED TO BE
ON A LEASH. OWNERS ARE FULLY RESPONSIBLE
FOR KEEPING CONTROL OF THEIR DOG(S).
Having read this waiver and knowing these facts in consideration of you accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my
behalf, hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Cedar Bend Humane Society and its sponsors, agents, officers, representatives, 
volunteers, employees, and other affiliated parties from all liability arising out of any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, 
suits, actions, and judgment of any kind and description which may occur to be suffered by me as the race participant by reason of 
activeness arising out of this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the person named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings and other records of
this event for any legitimate purposes.
