I understand that I am running a road race that is potentially dangerous activity and poses certain serious health risks.  I represent that I am medically able and properly trained to run, jog, and/or walk in this race.  I assume all risks associated with participating this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with others participants, the effects of the weather on race day including heat, humidity, rain, traffic, conditions of roadways and trails, and such other risks.  I, and any one acting on behalf of myself, now and forever, waive, release, hold harmless, T2 Fitness, the City of Virginia Beach, Virginia Wesleyan College, its employees, representatives, agents, staff, J&A Racing, race officials, race director, sponsors and their representatives, volunteers, from and against, any and all claims and liabilities, whether based on personal injury, death, or monetary loss, which may arise out of the participation of this race.   I hereby consent to the use of photographs, images, video, and sound recordings for any purpose which may include, among others things, advertising, promotion, marketing for the Goal Seekers 5k race and other legitimate purposes.  I understand that this is a road race and is not intended for skates, baby strollers, bikes, or animals.  I agree to abide by theses rules and regulations.  The race director reserves the right to alter, reschedule, or cancel segments of the race as deemed necessary for safety reasons.  No Refunds will be given out for this race.
