I am a willing participant in training and running-related events to be hosted by, or involving, the Atlanta Track Club. I understand that these events involve physical activities and may include intense exercise. I attest that I am mentally and physically capable of participating in these activities. My participation is voluntary and is done at my own risk. I understand that participation in these activities is inherently dangerous and that risks of participating include, but are not limited to, death and serious bodily injury. I assume all such risks associated with participating in these activities. I also assume all other risks associated with my participation in these activities, including, but not limited to, the weather, to include high heat and humidity; conditions of the track, road and/or other race area surfaces or conditions of the areas where training or running-related events will take place; and falls, collisions, motor vehicle traffic, and the conduct of spectators and other runners or participants in these activities. I hereby, for my myself, my heirs, my administrators and executors, personal representative and my assigns forever waive, release and discharge any and all rights and claims for damages or losses, whether monetary or otherwise compensatory, that I may have against the Atlanta Track Club, its subsidiaries, directors, executive director, officers, employees, members, representatives and agents for any injuries sustained by me arising out of my association with or participation in these activities. I understand and agree that medical or other services rendered to me by or at the instance of any of the above parties is not an admission of liability to provide or continue to provide any such services and is not a waiver by any said parties of any right hereunder. I also acknowledge that should I require transport to a medical facility, I must pay for such transportation and any treatment provided. I further agree now and forever to hold the above named and unnamed parties harmless and indemnify, and covenant not to sue them for all claims, damages, judgments, and costs of whatever nature and form. I hereby warrant and represent that I am 18 years old or older; I have carefully read this consent and agree to its terms and conditions, that before signing this agreement I had the chance to ask questions; and I am aware that by signing this consent, I assume all risks and waive and release certain substantial rights that I may have or possess.
