•I am exposing myself to potential hazards by participating in this event, recognizing that participation carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated completely, ranging from minor injuries to catastrophic injuries, including death;    

•I should not enter and participate in this event unless I am medically able and properly trained;   

  •This event is held over public trails and facilities open to the public during the event and upon which hazards are to be expected and which cannot be reasonably eliminated; and   

  •I am assuming and accepting complete responsibility for my personal safety and any and all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather, conditions of the trails, injuries and damage to property, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I represent and warrant that I am medically able and properly trained to safely participate in this event.  
 
    I understand and agree that in consideration of being permitted to participate in this event, I, and on behalf of my heirs, personal representatives and assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge and hold harmless Topeka South Rotary ( including its officers and members), Rotary International, Shawnee County, Kansas, all sponsors and volunteers, and each of their respective representatives, successors and assigns, for any and all liability from any and all claims for death, injury or property damage of any kind arising from my participation in this event, whether caused by negligence of any person or entity associated with this event or otherwise.  
 
  I grant full permission for the taking and use of any photographs, video tapes, or any other recording of this event for any reasonable purpose. If you are registering a child under the age 18 years or a legally incapacitated adult, you represent and warrant that you are the parent or legal guardian of such minor or incapacitated person, and have the legal authority to register them for this event, and to make the acknowledgments, representations, warranties and release on their behalf. If registering a child under the age of 13 years, you agree and consent to the collection of that child’s information which provide for the purposes of registration.
