In consideration of the acceptance of my entry and/or participation in the 2015 Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon, Parkersburg News and Sentinel Two-Mile Race, Parkersburg News and Sentinel Junior Races or Parkersburg News and Sentinel Tiny Tot Trot in Parkersburg, West Virginia, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, I, for myself, my heirs, successors, executors, administrators, distributees, and assigns, do hereby forever release and discharge the 2015 Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon, Parkersburg News and Sentinel Two-Mile Race, Parkersburg News and Sentinel Junior Races and Parkersburg News and Sentinel Tiny Tot Trot, the City of Parkersburg, any and all sponsors, volunteers, and committee members, and any and all directors, officers, principals, shareholders, owners, officials, representatives, members, volunteers, trustees, servants, agents, employees, successors, and assigns of the 2015 Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon, Parkersburg News and Sentinel Two-Mile Race, Parkersburg News and Sentinel Junior Races and Parkersburg News and Sentinel Tiny Tot Trot, the City of Parkersburg, and any and all sponsors, jointly and severally, from any and all personal injury, death, or property loss or damage and/or any and all responsibility, liabilities, actions, causes of action, claims, rights, judgments and executions, and demands, of whatever nature or kind, foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown, direct or indirect, now or hereafter arising, or otherwise, in any way connected with, arising out of, or resulting from my preparation for or participation in the 2015 Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon, Parkersburg News and Sentinel
Two-Mile Race, Parkersburg News and Sentinel Junior Races and/or Parkersburg News and Sentinel Tiny Tot Trot. I acknowledge and confirm that I am fully aware of the risks involved in this event and running races generally, and freely, clearly, and expressly agree to accept and voluntarily assume full responsibility and liability for any and all risks of personal injury, death or loss of or damage to property in any way connected with or resulting or arising from my preparation for or participation in this event. I certify that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to prepare for and participate in the race. Further, in consideration of the acceptance of my entry and/or participation in the 2015 Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon, Parkersburg News and Sentinel Two-Mile Race, Parkersburg News and Sentinel Junior Races and/or Parkersburg News and Sentinel Tiny Tot Trot, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, I hereby agree, on behalf of myself, my heirs, successors, executors, administrators, distributees, and assigns, to indemnify any, all or any combination of the aforesaid, jointly and severally, and to hold and save harmless any, all or any combination of the aforesaid, jointly and severally, from and against any and all personal injury, death, or property loss or damage and/or any and all actions, claims, causes of action, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, responsibility, rights, judgments and executions, or expenses of whatever kind and nature, foreseen or unforeseen, known, or unknown, direct or indirect, now or hereafter arising, or otherwise, including, without limitation, attorney fees, which may at any time be incurred by reason or arising out of my participation in or preparation for the aforesaid, the 2015 Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon, Parkersburg News and Sentinel Two-Mile Race, Parkersburg News and Sentinel Junior Races and/or Parkersburg News and Sentinel Tiny Tot Trot. I further certify that I have read complete details regarding the race and the foregoing, and have full understanding of their contents. Entry or participation in the race is an absolute acknowledgment of my agreement to the foregoing terms and conditions.
