Waiver for and in consideration of my participation in the above named 5k race, I for myself, my executors, heirs, administrators and assignees, do hereby release the race organizers, volunteers, officials, workers and sponsors jointly and separately, and save and hold them harmless from any and all fees claims, demands, liabilities, loss, damage, expense of whatever, land and nature including legal fees, which may at any time be incurred by my preparation and participation in the event including pre and post race activities. I attest and verify that I have full knowledge of the risks involved in my participation in the event including the fact that there may be motor vehicle traffic on the course and that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in the race. Finally, I grant permission to Operation Welcome You Home and its authorized agents to use my name and photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of my participation in this event for any purpose.
