WAIVER: I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run the race unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decisions of a race official relative to my ability to safely conclude the run. I assume all risk associated with running, including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the road and traffic on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing the facts, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release A Soldier's Child Foundation or its employees or Board members,  the Government of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County and its employees, all sponsors, their directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind or nature whatsoever arising our of my voluntary participation in this race even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named on this waiver. As citizens of the United States of America, we are forever indebted to the men and women who so unselfishly protect our freedoms. It is our objective to communicate through A Soldiers Child to the children left behind that the memory of their parent will not fade away. We want them to know that there are many Americans that are forever grateful for their parent's sacrifice. 
With humbleness of heart we aim to honor the memory of the parent by giving a meaningful gift to his/her children on their birthday. Christian Golczynski was the first child to receive a gift from ASC, and our goal is to reach every soldier's child, adopting them into the foundation until they are of adult age. We cannot substitute the bond and love of the parent that is forever gone, but with your help we can show them that we really do care.
