I know that running/walking in a race is a potentially hazardous activity. I am also aware that I should not enter and run/walk in this event unless I am medically able and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with running/walking in this event including, but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, the conditions of the trail and traffic on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing the facts, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, event coordinators and volunteers from all claims or liabilities of any kind whatsoever, foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown, arising out of my participation in this event even though liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. The undersigned further grants full permission to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church or volunteers authorized
