I hereby release the Falmouth Track Club, which organizes the events, all race officials and volunteers, the Town of Falmouth, all sponsors, USA Track & Field and all other person(s), organizations, or vendors connected with the race from any claim of damage or injury from my participation in or traveling to and from the events of the 37th Annual Cape Cod Marathon Running Weekend to include the Relay, Half Marathon, Full Marathon and the Clam Chowdah Challenge on Saturday-Sunday, October 25-26, 2014.  If I choose to run the full and/or the half marathon, I attest that I will be properly trained to complete the full marathon within the six-hour time limit and/or the half marathon in the three hour time limit. I also give my permission to use my likeness and publish my name in the news media. I understand that for safety reasons the use of personal electronic devices such as portable music players during the race is a safety risk. If I choose to use portable electronic devices, I accept full liability and responsibility for any injuries to me or other participants in the event and for property damage caused by my use of these devices. I also acknowledge and agree that the entry fee is non-refundable, even if the race is cancelled due to reasons beyond the control of the Organizers, such as, but not limited to, weather, public safety or any other situations that prevent the event from occurring safely.

Falmouth Track Club Youth Running Intiative supports local running programs in schools and the community.  Some examples, but not limited to, are the:

  • Elementary School Mileage Club - promotes running in elementary age children to run during recess with incentives
  • Summer Youth Running Program - provides professional running instruction for kids age 6-17 throughout the summer
  • Middle and Jr. High After School Running Programs - promotes running as a fun activity and directions on acheiving longer running goals
  • Exceptional Student Track Athlete Program - provides support for travel for students competing in national level competitions
