I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running this event, including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Wineglass Marathon and its race officials, Steuben County (including the Department of Public Works), the municipalities through which the race is run (including:  Town of Bath, Village of Bath, Village of Savona, Town of Campbell, Town of Erwin, Village of Painted Post, Village of Riverside and the City of Corning), the NYS DOT, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in the event. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I understand that any entry fees are non-refundable. I understand that this is a road race conducted under the rules of RRCA and USATF. I understand that the race takes place on public highways that are not closed to traffic, and due to insurance regulations individuals with headphones, baby strollers, dogs on leashes, bicycles, skates, skateboards or roller blades are not permitted. Parent/Guardian (or adult 21 or older) required at Packet Pickup if entrant is under 21 Years of Age.
