PANAMA CITY MARATHON -PCM, PANAMÁ 2026.
Como condición para recibir la autorización de participar en el PANAMA CITY MARATHON -PCM edición 2026 (EVENTO), usted acepta que los organizadores, prestadores de servicios y patrocinadores involucrados, así como toda aquella persona que participe directa o indirectamente en la organización del evento, no serán en ningún caso responsables de ningún accidente que usted sufra (o perezca). Acepta mantener a los organizadores, directores y a todas las personas tanto físicas como morales relacionadas con el EVENTO indemnes frente a cualquier reclamación, daño, pérdida o demanda derivada directa o indirectamente de la práctica de las actividades organizadas y en las que voluntariamente quiere participar.
Yo asumo bajo mi propio riesgo por el mero hecho de inscribirse o participar en las actividades, que debido a sus características, no están exentas de cierto riesgo. Estoy perfectamente informado de los riesgos que supone la práctica del Atletismo. Por medio del presente escrito, exonero de toda responsabilidad a cualquiera de las personas involucradas directa o indirectamente en la organización de este EVENTO deportivo, por los daños y perjuicios que pudiera sufrir en la práctica de cualquiera de las actividades programadas en la competencia, así como al responsable de las actividades y me comprometo a cubrir los daños que pueda ocasionar a terceros y la responsabilidad civil derivada de ellos.
De igual manera, declaro mediante la presente que ni padezco enfermedad o problema físico, mental o legal alguno que me impida o haga desaconsejable la práctica de las actividades del Atletismo. Tengo la capacidad y preparación física necesaria para realizar las actividades que el Atletismo requiere, bajo las condiciones que impliquen los circuitos del EVENTO. Declaro conocer las condiciones generales y las normas de obligado cumplimiento para la actividad que quiero realizar.
Reconozco y acepto que la inscripción realizada es no reembolsable por ningún motivo, transferible a cualquier tercero, por lo que en caso de que el EVENTO sea cancelado o pospuesto por cualquier causa, incluyendo caso fortuito o fuerza mayor como fenómenos o desastres naturales, huelgas, ataques terroristas o cualquier otra que a juicio de los organizadores ponga en riesgo mi persona, no me será reembolsada dicha inscripción ni se me liquidarán los costos en el suscrito haya incurrido para participar en el EVENTO.
También reconozco y acepto que como participante del EVENTO, deberé portar en todo momento el número de participante o la acreditación que me haya sido proporcionada por los organizadores del evento, en el entendido que dicho número no podrá ser transferido o intercambiado con cualquier tercero bajo ningún concepto, por lo que si no cuento con el mismo, los organizadores del evento, podrán retirarme del mismo, liberándolos de toda responsabilidad.
Reconozco y acepto que los productores del evento siempre tendrán como prioridad la salud de los atletas y equipo de trabajo sobre la situación del Covid-19 y seguirán las indicaciones de las autoridades de salud y del Gobierno de la República de Panamá. Entendiendo que debo seguir todas las instrucciones de medidas de bioseguridad indicadas mientras visite cualquier área del evento. Entiendo que esto podrá ser informado vía redes sociales, correo masivo o de manera verbal. Entiendo que las autoridades de salud y el Gobierno de Panamá tendrán la última palabra en decidir tener que posponer el evento en el caso de que consideren que la realización del mismo representa un riesgo a la salud pública. Entiendo que la situación de la pandemia del Covid-19 cambia rápidamente y que las decisiones sobre las medidas en contra del Covid-19 que tome el Gobierno de la República de Panamá igualmente pueden cambiar muy rápido y que esto puede afectar las medidas que haya que tomar en relación a la realización del evento o las medidas para poder realizarlo. Entiendo que de tener que posponer el evento no existe la posibilidad de transferencias de cupos a terceras personas, ni reembolso económico ni parcial ni total del costo de la inscripción.
CONSENTIMIENTO PARA PARTICIPANTES MENORES DE EDAD
En mi calidad de padre, madre o tutor legal del menor que se estoy registrando, declaro y certifico lo siguiente:

Autorización Expresa: Autorizo plena y conscientemente la participación del menor antes mencionado en el evento y en todas sus actividades relacionadas.

Aceptación del Waiver: He leído, comprendido y aceptado en su totalidad la presente Liberación de Responsabilidad en nombre del menor. Acepto que tanto yo como el menor estamos obligados por todos sus términos y condiciones.

Asunción de Responsabilidad: Asumo de forma absoluta y sin reservas toda la responsabilidad por cualquier riesgo, accidente, lesión, incapacidad o incluso fallecimiento que el menor pudiera sufrir como resultado de su participación.

Validez de Firma Electrónica: Entiendo y acepto que mi aceptación digital al marcar esta casilla y completar el registro constituye una firma electrónica con la misma validez y fuerza legal que una firma manuscrita, sirviendo como prueba irrefutable de mi consentimiento.
Confirmo que no es necesaria la presentación de ningún documento físico o notariado adicional, ya que esta aceptación digital formaliza mi total consentimiento y asunción de responsabilidad.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY
PANAMA CITY MARATHON -PCM, PANAMA 2026.
As a condition for receiving authorization to participate in the 2026 edition of the PANAMA CITY MARATHON -PCM (EVENT), you agree that the organizers, service providers, and sponsors involved, as well as anyone directly or indirectly involved in the organization of the event, will not be responsible in any case for any accident you may suffer (or perish). You agree to hold the organizers, directors, and all individuals, both physical and legal, related to the EVENT harmless against any claim, damage, loss, or demand directly or indirectly derived from participating voluntarily in the organized activities.
I assume at my own risk by the mere fact of registering or participating in the activities, that due to their characteristics, they are not without certain risks. I am fully aware of the risks involved in practicing running. By this document, I release from all liability anyone involved directly or indirectly in the organization of this sporting EVENT, for any damages and harm that I may suffer in the practice of any of the activities scheduled in the competition, as well as to the person responsible for the activities, and I undertake to cover the damages that I may cause to third parties and the civil liability arising from them.
Likewise, I declare hereby that I do not suffer from any illness or physical, mental, or legal problem that would prevent or make it inadvisable for me to practice running activities. I have the necessary physical capacity and preparation to perform the activities required by the running under the conditions implied by the EVENT circuits. I acknowledge the general conditions and the mandatory rules for the activity I wish to carry out.
I acknowledge and accept that the registration made is non-refundable for any reason, transferable to any third party, so if the EVENT is canceled or postponed for any reason, including fortuitous events or force majeure such as natural phenomena, strikes, terrorist attacks, or any other event that, in the organizers' judgment, puts my safety at risk, the registration fee will not be refunded, and the costs incurred by the subscriber to participate in the EVENT will not be reimbursed.
I also acknowledge and accept that as a participant in the EVENT, I must carry the participant number or accreditation provided by the event organizers at all times, understanding that this number cannot be transferred or exchanged with any third party under any circumstances, so if I do not have it, the event organizers may remove me from the event, releasing them from all liability.
I acknowledge and accept that the event producers will always prioritize the health of the athletes and staff over the situation of Covid-19 and will follow the instructions of health authorities and the Government of the Republic of Panama. I understand that I must follow all biosecurity measures indicated while visiting any area of the event. I understand that this information may be communicated via social media, mass email, or verbally. I understand that health authorities and the Government of Panama will have the final say in deciding to postpone the event if they consider that holding it poses a risk to public health. I understand that the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic changes rapidly and that decisions on anti-Covid-19 measures taken by the Government of the Republic of Panama can also change very quickly, affecting the measures to be taken regarding the event or the measures to hold it. I understand that if the event has to be postponed, there is no possibility of transferring slots to third parties, nor economic reimbursement.
CONSENT FOR MINOR PARTICIPANTS
As the parent or legal guardian of Minor who I'm registering, hereby declare and certify the following:

Express Authorization: I fully and consciously authorize the participation of the aforementioned minor in the event and all its related activities.

Acceptance of Waiver: I have read, understood, and fully agree to this Liability Waiver on behalf of the minor. I accept that both I and the minor are bound by all its terms and conditions.

Assumption of Responsibility: I assume, absolutely and without reservation, full responsibility for any and all risks, accidents, injuries, disabilities, or even death that the minor may suffer as a result of their participation.

Validity of Electronic Signature: I understand and agree that my digital acceptance by checking this box and completing the registration constitutes an electronic signature with the same validity and legal force as a handwritten signature, serving as irrefutable proof of my consent.
I confirm that no additional physical or notarized documents are required to be submitted, as this digital acceptance formalizes my full consent and assumption of responsibility.
I EXPRESSLY STATE THAT I AM IN PERFECT PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH, AS WELL AS LEGALLY CAPABLE OF SUBSCRIBING TO THIS DOCUMENT, HAVING READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND FULLY COMPREHENDED IT, AS WELL AS THE EVENT'S PARTICIPATION RULES, THEREFORE I HEREBY SUBSCRIBE TO THIS DOCUMENT.
