2024 Madhatters Canoe & Kayak Race

The participant knows and understands the perilous nature of his or her undertaking, as it relates to the loss of life or limb, or to any property damage, including but not limited to, such hazards as boulders and other obstacles, strainers, undercut or entrapping formations, falls, holes, reversals, and other water formations, changing conditions, cold high water, and other hazards.

In consideration of being allowed to compete in the Lake Metroparks Madhatters Canoe & Kayak Race, the undersigned hereby voluntarily assumes all risk or damage to his or her person or property and the undersigned, for him or herself, hereby releases Lake Metroparks, its officers, its members and the race organizers and sponsors, as well as any person or organizations owning land adjacent to or on which the race is conducted from every claim, liability, or demand of any kind for, or on account of, any personal injury or damage of any kind sustained by him or her.
