I am participating in the 100% Pure Kona Coffee Half Marathon to be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, and I agree to comply with the rules, regulations, and event
instructions. I understand and acknowledge that participation in a road running event is a potentially hazardous activity and can result in serious injury or death. I am aware of and I
assume all inherent risks associated with participating in this event. I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release from any and all claims for injuries and
damages I may have against the 100% Pure Kona Coffee Marathon & Half Marathon, Big Island Race Events, Coconut Grove Marketplace, Coconut Grove Retail XIII, LLC, Athena
Management, Inc., Clark Realty Corp, County of Hawaii, Department of Transportation (State of Hawaii), and the Hawaii Police Department caused by the negligence of any of them
arising out of participation for this event, including pre and post-race activities. I attest that I am in good health and in proper physical condition to complete the event. I consent to
receive medical treatment which may be advisable in the event of illness or injuries suffered by me during this event and I agree to pay for the costs of my medical treatment. I give
permission for the free use of my name, voice, or picture in any broadcast, telecast, advertising promotion, or other account of this event. I understand that any and all fees paid by
me in association with this event are non-refundable and non-transferable. I permit the use of my contact information by the event, it’s sponsored events and sponsors. Participants
will be required to abide by all COVID-19 restrictions at the time of the race.
