I hereby Release, Waive and Covenant Not to Sue, and further agree to Indemnify, Defend and Hold Harmless the following parties: Forest Preserve District of Cook County, M to Z Event Management, F3 Events LLC, and the officers, agents, and employees of F3 Events LLC, individually and collectively.

I acknowledge that there are no refunds, deferments, or bib transfers for this event once I register.  I have read this entire section before clicking ''I agree'' and therefore understand that if I am unable to participate, regardless of circumstances, it is pointless to ask for a full refund, deferment, or to transfer my bib to another runner because the race is unable to do so. 

I further acknowledge that participation in trail runs and ultramarathons is risky. I affirm that I have thoroughly prepared myself to compete safely in this event. I further affirm that despite my preparations I may be forced to quit the event in case of injury, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. I agree to abide by the cutoff times of this event, and I agree to quit this event if I fail to leave a checkpoint prior to that checkpoint's cutoff time. I agree to quit this event if asked to do so by the race director.

F3 Events reserves the right to use any photograph taken of you by our photographers for future marketing and promotion of our events. By registering you are giving us permission to use your image.

I further recognize that although F3 Events has never cancelled this event, F3 Events reserves the right to do so in the case of extreme cold, severe weather, excessive precipitation, or any other situation or scenario which could prevent F3 Events from producing an event that is reasonably safe for its participants and partners.

I acknowledge that this event will be conducted during a pandemic and will follow strict protocols. I agree to follow any and all protocols of this event. I acknowledge that if this event is cancelled due to the pandemic, the proceeds of my race entry (after expenses are paid) will be donated to Girls in the Game.
