WAIVER; Knowing that running a race is a potentially hazardous activity, I enter and run this race certifying that I am medically able and properly trained. I assume any and all risks associated with running this event including but not limited to falls and contact with other participants.  I also understand that this event entails contact with other people, and at times might entail close personal contact with those people, some of whom may at that time be a carrier of the COVID-19 virus.  Knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I hereby for myself, heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue and do hereby waive, release, and discharge Tradition Companies, including but not limited to Tradition Development Corp., Robert Thomas Homes, Inc., Homes By Tradition, LLC, SBF Development Corp., Tradition Family Foundation, Spirit of Brandtjen Farm and the Spirit of Brandtjen Farm Home Owners Association, HopeKids, race officials, volunteers and others from any and all claims or liability for death, personal injury, illness (including COVID-19) or property damage of any kind or nature arising out of or in the course of my participation in this race. Events may be delayed or in rare circumstances cancelled, in the event of inclement weather including lightning, wind, snow, or the threat of eminent severe weather which may harm or injure participants, staff, set up crew and bystanders.  Event time frame includes setup, race and tear down.  All possible attempts will be made to contact those involved by email, website and social media.  No refunds or transfers allowed.
