Race waiver and release: I understand that my consent to these provisions is given in consideration of the acceptance of this registration and for being permitted to participate in this event. I am a voluntary participant in this event and in good physical condition. I know that this event is a potentially hazardous activity and I hereby assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident that may occur during my participation in this event or while on the premises of this event, and hereby release and hold harmless and covenant not to file suit against the Lost Dutchman Marathon, Inc. and any affiliated individuals, The Lost Dutchman Marathon Committee and any of its affiliated individuals, Raceplace Events Systems, Inc., any race sponsor and their agents and employees, The City of Apache Junction, Pinal County, The Arizona Department of Transportation, and all other persons associated with this event (the releases) from any loss, liability or claims I may have arising out of my participation in this event, including personal injury or damage suffered by me or others where same be caused by falls, contact with participants, conditions on the course, negligence of the releases or otherwise. If I do not follow all of the rules of this event I understand that I may be removed from the competition. I give my full permission to the Lost Dutchman Marathon, Inc. and its sponsors and suppliers to use my photographs, video-tapes, audio tapes and other recordings or me that are made during the course of this event. I understand that this waiver and release may be stored electronically and agree that a copy is authentic and admissible as evidence in any future dispute of proceeding. I understand that the half marathon and marathon courses are certified, and should conditions dictate a change in route it will not be certified. This event will occur rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event there will be no refunds; proceeds will be donated to the Lost Dutchman Marathon, Inc. youth beneficiaries.

As a participant in this event, I understand in addition to the potential for exposure to COVID-19 and other viral and bacterial infections or disease, activities of a physical nature involve some risks. I further understand that by participating in The Lost Dutchman Marathon events, there is an assumption of risk of injury or exposure to contagious viruses or diseases by the participant. I certify that my own physical condition is satisfactory to participate in any physically demanding activities. Medical coverage is the responsibility of the individual participants. Further, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless, The Lost Dutchman Marathon and it’s members, the City of Apache Junction, its employees, subcontractors and program volunteers from any loss or liability, which may result from such participation.

 UNISEX SIZING ON ALL SHIRTS! (Very similar to men's sizing)  Choice of shirt size is only guaranteed to registrations received by January 22, 2021. Generally unisex shirts run a size larger than a womens standard size and our shirts follow this trend. All participants will receive a high quality long sleeve technical shirt. (2 Mile Registrants will be guaranteed to the first 200 registered only for the 2 Mile.) The shirts are unisex so please order accordingly.
