I realize that my child’s participation in the JUST RUN® Lake County 5K will involve activity that is physically strenuous and may involve exposure to adverse weather. I understand that all physical activities involve some risks to the participants. I nevertheless wish my child to participate in the JUST RUN® Lake County Program and 5K and assume the risk of any injury received during the course of the program practices and 5K run.  
 
I give up any claims for injuries that my child may sustain, including death, and hereby release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Lake Metroparks, Greater Cleveland XC, Big Sur International Marathon, JUST RUN LAKE COUNTY, its directors and officers, employees and volunteers, suppliers, contractors, sponsors, the State of California, Licensed Satellite programs, and anyone connected with the JUST RUN® Lake County Program and 5K from any and all claims, expenses and compensation, including attorneys’ fees, that may arise out of, or result, directly or indirectly, from my child's participation in the JUST RUN® Lake County program and 5K.

Greater Cleveland XC is excited to offer you our Adult Beginner Running Program - GET FIT! If you are ready to take the first step toward fitness and wellness and are hoping to participate in the "Just Run" program with your student, then this program is for you. GET FIT is a running based program designed for those who are new to walking/running for fitness, those getting back into walking/running after an injury or time off, or for those simply looking for some camaraderie and support in working towards a better running experience. This 10-week program will coincide with the "Just Run" session and will be held on Wednesday evenings from March 21st - May 28th. There will be weekly meetings which will include support on fitness, running and nutrition topics, followed by a walk/run to help you prepare for your 5K race goal.
