In consideration of the acceptance of my entry into River Run 10K, release from their own negligence the Fort Myers Track Club, the RRCA, the City of Fort Myers, GIGI's Playhouse, all of their sponsors, officers, directors and members of each of said organizations, their respective employees and agents and any other entity or individual(s) who are in any way connected with this event or which is in any way related to this event. I understand that this release extends to myself, my heirs, my assigns or any other personal representative. I represent that I have trained for this event and am physically of sound body and mind to participate in this event. I have read the information contained on this site and understand the risks associated with participation in this event. I also realize that this release is relied upon by the persons above in permitting me to participate. I also know that although traffic control and police protection is provided I will assume all risks of running in traffic. I am aware of the possibility of high temperature and humidity and the possible danger this represents to a runner. I understand that if I am under the age of 18 that I must have the permission of my parent or legal guardian in order to participate in this event. I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, hereby consent to the applicant’s participation and waive and release all rights and claims for damages as is more fully set forth above. Further, I hereby give full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use any photographs, video tape, motion pictures, recordings, and any other record of this event for legitimate purposes.
