In consideration of acceptance for entry in the Turkey Trot, I accept any risks of participation and agree to hold harmless the Fort Myers Track Club, Lee Memorial Health Systems, City of Cape Coral, Road Runners Club of America, all event sponsors and all officers, directors, staff and members of said organizations, their respective employees and agents, and any other entities and individuals who are in any way connected with this event, including volunteers assisting with the event.  I understand that this acceptance of risk and hold harmless agreement is binding on myself and my personal representatives and assigns.  I represent that I have adequately trained to participate in this event and recognize that risks of injury accompany such participation, and acknowledge that this release is being relied upon by the above persons in permitting me to participate.  Further, I hereby give full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use any photographs, video tape, motion pictures, recordings, and any other record of this event for legitimate purposes.

Proceeds for the Annual Turkey Trot benefit two Lee County programs that promote and reward healthy living and awareness in the community. The Fort Myers Track club has pledged $50,000 in proceeds to the Cape Coral Turkey Trot to help build the Wellness path at Cape Coral Hospital as part of the future Pathway to Discovery. Additional proceeds will go to the Fort Myers Track Club Youth and Scholarship programs.
