Van Sertima Elite 5k and Fun Run/Walk 2019

I have willingly agreed to participate in the Van Sertima Elite 5k and Fun Run/ Walk and I am aware of the health, fitness and safety concerns associated with participating in this event. I hereby indemnify the organizers, promoters, third party companies and/or their agents or next of kin from all possible claims for damages or injury of any nature arising out of my participating in this event. I hereby give my permission for the organizers, promoters and/or their agents to use my picture and /or name in any publicity deemed necessary for the promotion of this event at no compensation. Participants under the age of eighteen must obtain their parents/guardians permission. By indicating your acceptance of this agreement and waiver , you are affirming that you have read this agreement and fully understand its terms. You understand that you and all registered parties are giving up substantial rights, including the right to sue.  You acknowledge that you are agreeing to this agreement and waiver freely and voluntarily and intend by your acceptance to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law. 

If the participant is a minor or incapacitated adult, I certify that I am the participant's guardian and agree to this waiver and release from liability, on behalf of the participant.
