All Fit Foodie events are RAIN OR SHINE. Fit Foodie will not provide refunds for cancellations Ticket buyer assumes all risk in the event of postponement or cancellation.. Fit Foodie shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event that an event is rescheduled or postponed due to fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrences or any other event that renders performance of this race impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labor strike, extreme weather or other emergency. Fast Forward Events and Fit Foodie will make every effort to offer a substitution event in the case Fit Foodie cancels because of a fortuitous event or Act of God.
I acknowledge that my participation in this event is a potentially hazardous activity. The risks include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, trail conditions, facilities, temperature, weather, condition of athletes, and actions of other people including, but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators, team officials, monitors and producers. I hereby assume all of the risks of participation in this event. I know that my participation is voluntary and that I am free to stop at any time. I affirm that I am in good physical condition and properly trained. In consideration of acceptance of my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on by behalf, waive and release the Fit Foodie, Fast Forward, Cooking Light, Health Magazine, John Hancock, event officials, volunteers, and any and all other sponsors and organizers of this event from any and all liability arising from illness, injuries and damages I may suffer as a result of my participation in this event.
I hereby grant Fast Forward and John Hancock permission to use my likeness and/or voice in a photograph in any and all of its publications, including website entries, without payment or any other consideration. Further, by registering for this event, I consent to Fast Forward sharing the personal information that I provide in connection with my registration for and participation in this event, including, without limitation, my email address and phone number (including my wireless number if provided), with John Hancock and the other sponsors of this event for such sponsors’ marketing purposes.
