I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter or run this event unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in this race including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, the conditions of the road and traffic on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my application, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the event, all sponsors, their representatives and successors, and all volunteers, directors, and officers at the 5K Run for Jabberwocky and the Martha's Vineyard Cerebral Palsy Camp, Inc (commonly known as Camp Jabberwocky), USATF, Mettle Timing, Inc., The Farm Institute, and the Trustees of Reservations from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I agree to allow my email and all of my contact information to be shared with race sponsors, knowing that I can unsubscribe from their email and/or mailing lists at anytime. I grant the right to use my name and image for promotional purposes of the race and its sponsors and organization in all forms and media including composite or modified representations and waive the right to inspect or approve versions of my image used for publication or the written copy that may be used in connection with the images. No pets or strollers are permitted. All fees are nonrefundable. *Applications for minors are not accepted without parent/guardian signature.
