I know that running a road race event is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I will not enter and participate in this event unless I am medically able and properly trained, and by my signature (and/or by electronically clicking the “agree” button for online registration), I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, and am in good health, and I am properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation in this event for any reason whatsoever. I attest that I have read the rules of the race and agree to abide by them. I also know that, although police protection will be provided, there will be traffic on the 5K course route. I assume the risk of running in traffic. I also assume any and all other risks associated with running in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effect of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the condition of the roads and grounds at the event, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, animals and personal music players are not allowed in the race and I will abide by all race rules. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, or anyone else entitled to act on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release and discharge The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, the City of Dover, Dover Police, race officials, volunteers, any and all sponsors, their representatives and successors, agents, employees, assigns or anyone acting on their behalf, from any and all claims of liabilities of any kind  or nature whatsoever arising out of, or in the course of, my participation in this event, including but not limited to death, personal injury, and/or property damage. This release and waiver extends to all claims of every kind or nature whatsoever, foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown. The use of the term “event” as set forth above includes both the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire 5k Road Race and Kid-venture Course. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
