In consideration of your acceptance of the entry, I hereby waive, release, and forever discharge all claims, rights, and causes of action whatsoever kind or nature for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, against sponsors and organizers of the Katy Days Iron Horse Duathlon, 5k and 1k Fun Run, their agents, servants, officers, employees, directors, representatives, and assigns for injury or illness which may directly or indirectly result from my participation in the Katy Days Iron Horse Duathlon, 5k and 1k Fun Run and I further agree to save and hold harmless and agree to indemnify each of said persons against all liability for any loss, cost, injury, or damage to persons or property which may arise by virtue of the undersigned engaging in the Katy Days Iron Horse Duathlon, 5k and 1k Fun Run. I further state that I am in proper physical condition to participate in this event. I recognize the sponsors of the event have not undertaken to provide undersigned with any medical care, treatment, or advice concerning my participation in the event. I agree to the use of my image, likeness and/or voice in any print, audio, video, Internet, digital or electronic marketing and/or informal materials developed by or on behalf of Katy Days Iron Horse Duathlon, 5k and 1k Fun Run. My image or voice may be used in whole or part, in original or modified form, alone or in conjunction with other voices, visual material, artwork, and/or written material. I hereby assign all rights of copyright of such material to Katy Days Iron Horse Duathlon, 5k and 1k Fun Run. and release Katy Days Iron Horse Duathlon, 5k and 1k Fun Run from any liability arising out of such use.
