Mandatory Risk Waiver YMCA participants understand that recreational activities do have inherent risks which are beyond the control of the Treasure Valley Family YMCA and its staff, volunteers and members. We, the undersigned, do understand that upon using the facility and/or services that we hereby assume all risks for the behavior, actions, and safety of myself, my minor child or children while involved in the activities. Therefore, I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and/or to members of my family, or for loss or damage to my personal property and expenses thereof as a result of my negligence, the negligence of my family participating in said activities, or the negligence of the Treasure Valley Family YMCA. I have read and understand this agreement and release of liability, and do voluntarily agree to sign. I also understand that I can be denied access to the YMCA if my account is not current. In consideration of my acceptance into the event, I hereby agree that in the event of cancellation of this Fun Run/Triathlon/Duathlon or any portion thereof due to storm, rain, inclement weather, wind, or other acts of God, my entry fee shall be non-refundable. While on the premises of any Treasure Valley Family YMCA facility or enrolled in any YMCA programs, my family and I agree to act with Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. The Treasure Valley Family YMCA reserves the right to use photographs/videos taken within YMCA facilities and at YMCA events and activities for marketing and promotional purposes. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, the undersigned, the parent or legal guardian of the race applicant listed herein, intending to be legally bound for the race applicant and myself, our heirs, executors, and administrators, do hereby release any and all sponsors, the City of Boise, Saint Alphonsus Classic, the supporters, and volunteers, and the directors, officers, employees and agents of such parties, their representatives, successors and assignees from any and all liability arising from illness, or injuries the race applicant or I may suffer as a result of participation in this race. I attest and verify that the race applicant is physically fit and has sufficiently trained for the completion of this race. I agree that any sponsor may subsequently use for publicity and promotional purposes race applicant’s name and photo in this event without obligation or liability to race applicant or me. I also understand that entry fees are not refundable. I have read the foregoing and certify my agreement by my signature below.
