Anaheim Semper 5K & 10K Run

For Good and Valuable Consideration, including permission for the undersigned to participate in the ANAHEIM SEMPER 5K & 10K and related activities [“the event”], I, for myself, my successors, heirs, assigns, executors, and administrators agree that prior to participating in the event I will inspect the facilities and equipment to be used therein and, if I believe any of them are unsafe, I will immediately advise the race officials or other supervisory personnel in attendance. I fully understand that I will be engaging in activities that involve risk of bodily injury or death, including economic losses, and which might result in my death or injury, as well as damages including medical and hospital bills, wage loss, temporary or permanent full or partial disability, and/or damage to my property, arising from my participation in the event. Recognizing the foregoing, I nonetheless freely and voluntarily assume all risk of participation in the event.  I hereby warrant, covenant, and agree to acquit, release, relinquish, waive and discharge and promise to hold harmless, defend and indemnify the ANAHEIM SEMPER 5K & 10K, Anaheim Marine Adoption Committee, the City of Anaheim, and their respective officers, directors, officials and organizers, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors, and each affiliated entity from any and all liability, loss, damage, claim, suit or demand arising from or attributable to my participation in this event. I also warrant that I am in good health and have no physical condition that would prevent me from participating in the event.  PHOTOGRAPHIC RELEASE I agree that photographs, pictures, slides, movies or videos of me may be taken, and used,  in connection with my participation in the event without compensation from the event sponsors, organizers, beneficiaries or their permittees and further consent to the use of photographs, pictures, slides, movies or videos for any legal purpose. I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE, I UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND SIGN VOLUNTARILY.
