I know that running a road or cross-country event is a potential hazardous activity. My child should not enter unless he or she is medically able. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my child’s ability to safely complete the run. I will provide race-day supervision by an adult of my child to and from the assembly area. I assume all risks associated with my child’s running the 2018 Kilometer Kids Fun Runs, including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, any traffic and conditions of the road or running surfaces. All such risks to my child are known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my child’s entry, I, for myself and child, and anyone entitled to act on our behalf, waive and release the Atlanta Track Club, the City of Atlanta, the City of Lawrenceville and Gwinnett County and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my child’s participation in this event. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other recording of this event for any legitimate purpose.
