I know that volunteering at a race is a potentially hazardous activity and that I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely volunteer and/or complete the run. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in the race and participating in the awards ceremony thereafter (collectively,  the “Event”), including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the race course, all risks of the Event being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, voluntarily waive, release, and covenant not to sue the organizers of the Children's Hospital Foundation 4 Mile Fun Run, The Superkid Obstacle Course, Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU, Children’s Hospital Foundation and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, beneficiaries, employees and agents and all other sponsors, their respective affiliates, representatives, successors, employees and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties”) from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising from my participation in the Event or carelessness on my part or on the part of the Released Parties. Further, I grant permission to the Released Parties to use any photographs, motion picture or video recordings, or any other record of the Event containing my name, likeness, or performance.
