The DeMolay 5K Run/Walk for RiteCare Children was created to assist and preserve the free services at the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic at Maryville University (srclinic.org). The Clinic has provided speech and language therapy to children in the St. Louis Area for 30 years at no cost to the families. The Walker Scottish Rite Clinic, created in 1988 to provide free and accessible speech language therapy for preschool age children, was begun in St. Louis with the mission to help children communicate. This Clinic, providing care to over 16,000 children since its inception, now serves children in six locations in the greater St. Louis area through the program partnership with Maryville University. This Run/Walk is hosted by Missouri DeMolay (a 501(c)(3) charity organization) and your participation directly provides much needed care for St. Louis area children.
