RELEASE OF LIABILITY: I, the undersigned Participant, expressly acknowledge that the CORONA DEL MAR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ("CHAMBER") & TIME MANAGEMENT have no obligation to offer recreational events such as the 36th Annual Corona del Mar Scenic 5k ("Scenic 5k"). I understand there is a possibility that I could be seriously injured while participating in this recreational activity. The property on which the Scenic 5k is conducted may not be in perfect condition. In signing this form, I am asking for permission to participate in the event with the knowledge that I could be injured, and I hereby agree to accept and assume any and all risk of injury or damage to property on behalf of myself and any minor on whose behalf I have registered. As consideration for this registration's acceptance, on behalf of myself and any minor for whom I have registered I hereby agree to forever release and hold harmless the CHAMBER, TIME MANAGEMENT and any of their officers, employees or volunteers from any liability, claim or action for injury or damages resulting from or in any way arising out of my participation in the Scenic 5k. The laws of the State of California shall govern this legally enforceable agreement.
