This Ruck Challenge competition seeks to develop teamwork and esprit de corps among the veterans engaged in rehabilitative programs in our community by challenging other agencies to compete in an event of endurance, strength, and strategy. By competing, you recognize the sacrifice veterans made to serve our country and take an active role to heal the invisible wounds of service our veterans have suffered.

With my signature, I acknowledge that running and walking can be an inherently strenuous activity and that no event is without risk. I 
have consulted with my physician regarding my physical capacity to participate in this event and am following physician’s advice. I hereby 
waive all claims against Reaching New Heights Foundation, all race sponsors, officials, race organizers, volunteers, the city of Riversiide, and any person functioning with respect to the event for any injury, accident or physical conditions I might suffer in this event. I grant full 
permission for organizers to use my name, likeness, or voice and photographs, videotapes or quotations from me in accounts and 
promotions in any medium of this event, and of the activities of Reaching New Heights Foundation. This permission is perpetual and worldwide.
