Spring Garden Gnome 5K Run

I understand that running/walking a race is a potentially hazardous activity. I know that I should not enter a walk/run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by the decision of any race official relation to my ability to safely complete the race. I assume all risks associated with running/walking this event. Having read this waiver,  I undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all claims for damages, actions and causes against The Western St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce and any and all sponsors of the event, volunteers, and individual race organizers, arising out of or in connection with my entry in, travel to,  participating in, and returning from the Spring Garden Gnome 5K Run . I also give permission for the free use of my name and/or photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event in broadcasts, telecasts, web sites, newspapers, posters, advertising, or any other materials for promotional and marketing purposes by organizations and entities associated with this event. I understand that the entry fees are non-refundable. This event will take place rain or shine.
