2016 Tenley Tiger Run

I understand that participating in the Tenley Tiger Run is a potentially hazardous activity. I know I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to that official's judgment of my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with participation in the Tenley Tiger Run including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather including high heat and/or humidity or low temperatures, traffic and the conditions of the road, and any personal health risks, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I also understand the event does not allow me to run with a dog, or ride a bike, scooter, skates, or any other type of wheeled form of transportation at this event out of the interest of safety for the other runners. Having read this waiver and release and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my registration, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release any and all sponsors, including, but not limited to, Wilson High School, Wilson PTSO, DC Public Schools, the District of Columbia, RunWashington Timing, the National Park Service, race officials, volunteers, and all sponsors of the Tenley Tiger Run and any other persons assisting with the race, their representatives and successors and assigns of each and every of the above from all claims of liability of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though such liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I understand that if the race is canceled because of circumstances beyond the control of the race committee and sponsors, including, but not limited to, unsafe weather conditions or governmental ban, my entry fee will not be refunded.  I also grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of my participation in this event for any legitimate purpose.
