i know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. i should not enter and run unless i am medically able and properly trained. i agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the event. The Seashore Striders plan to offer Unisex Short Sleeve Tech T for male runners & Female cut Short Sleeve Tech T for female runners who PRE Register. Participants are guaranteed a tech t by registering for the event at least a week before the event. On race-day only unisex SM-XL are guaranteed as sizes on a first come/first serve basis. The Seashore Strider Youth Cross Program introduces our young runners to the sport with a major focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, training, and competition. The Strider Youth runners meet twice a week at beautiful Cape Henlopen State Park from September to the National Championships in November. The Striders have qualified athletes for the Nationals for the last 24 straight years with highlights that include over 100 All-Americans, a 3rd place team in the late 90's, and a National Individual Champion in 2007 with Sub-Bantam Ben Bamforth & 2014 with Bantam Luke Burton. The Youth Team is supported by a few Seashore Strider events, fundraisers throughout the season, the local Seashore Marathon, and of course the generous donations made by the Seashore Strider family of runners. We thank you for your support in helping us teach the sport of running to our youth.
