Imagine a beautiful summer evening in the beautiful town of Newburyport, MA. Each year, hundreds of runners in both the 10M and 5K enjoy a breathtaking course through the bucolic seaside town, running along the ocean for several miles before winding through a state park and charming New England neighborhoods. The Yankee Homecoming 10M and 5K are truly picture perfect.So it has been for decades. And the tradition continues in 2015 as we celebrate the 56th year of the Yankee Homecoming Race.

WAIVER

I KNOW THAT RUNNING AN D ROAD RACING ARE POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS activities I will not enter the July 28, 2015 Yankee homecoming race unless I am medically able. I assume all risks associated with this race, including but not limited to falls, contact with other runners, effects of the weather including high temperature. 
I realize the race course is not shut down to traffic during the race. 
Having read this waiver I myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release all race organizers and workers, the USATF, Newburyoport School Committee the city of Newburyport workers, Bay State Race Services and volunteers, all municipalities and sponsors from rights and claims for damage, injury and illness I may have from this event. I grant permission to all of the forgoing to use any photographs or record of this race for legitimate purposes certify my compliance with my signature. -- ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Through our support for research, cures and treatment of preventable blindness we have touched the lives of many people in our own community and throughout the world.
