I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all of the risks associated with running in this event, including but not limited to: fall, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and other road conditions, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Kelly passed away at age 21 of brain cancer. Team Kelly was formed to make a difference in her name. Kelly Kicking Cancer is a non profit dedicated to funding research for brain cancer. All Team Kelly members are volunteers. All monies donated go to research. Our current donee is the Kenneth R Peak Brain and Pituitary Center at Houston Methodist Hospital.
